Iranian animation to go on screen in France

French film company ‘Les Films du Whippet’ has selected Iranian animation ‘The Story of That Covetous Crow’ to go on screen.

Directed by animator Abdolah Alimorad, the animation is the story of a crow that steals people’s belongings and carries them to its nest. People are annoyed with the crow but everything gets worse when the crow steals a precious gem.

The animation is written by Ebrahim Forouzesh.

The company will start screening the animation and some other works from March 25, 2020.

Created in 2005, the Les Films du Whippet selects the works aimed at very young children.

It praises the works that use different animation techniques.
